Hello,

I’m Owen, and I’ve been writing and recording songs for a while now. Roar specifically started when my old band, Asleep In The Sea, disbanded, and I needed a name for new material. I am grateful to be able to continue making music thanks to fine folks who listen to the tunes.

The project has toured with: AJJ (fka Andrew Jackson Jihad), Diners, Jeff Rosenstock, minibosses, The Walters and been lucky enough to release vinyl on friends’ labels. Roar has had unexpected popularity on TikTok which has allowed sustained creative freedom for the time being. Thank you forever!
